About Christian Louboutin fashion house:

Christian Louboutin opened doors of his first fashion store in Paris in 1992. First pair of Christian Louboutin shoes were inspired by a famous photo of princess Diana, sitting in front of Taj Mahal. “I remember the picture at the time of Princess Diana and she was looking at her feet and I thought she looked so sad….It would be nice to have something to make her smile, when she looked at her feet.” So he created a pair of shoes for her with “LO” on left foot and “VE” on the right one, meaning “LOVE”.

So Kate heels were inspired by Kate Moss – famous fashion model – when she was preparing to her wedding. She was a huge fan of Pigalle heels and Christian Louboutin decided to make a very special model for her with slightly longer point of toe and thinner and higher heel.

Besides fashion, Christian Louboutin has made some creative challenges. He cooperated with director David Lynch on a photo exhibition in 2007. Later, in 2012, Louboutin helped in creation of many elements of Feu (Fire), a show at famous Parisian club Crazy Horse.
